Importing from MacDive 2

Post by 5th Day Diver » Sun Jul 11, 2010 5:53 pm

When trying to import from MacDive 2 to Dive Log Manager 2 it says "MacDive is not installed, or its installed logbook can not be found". Is this a problem with MacDive or Dive Log? Also, I know that I've said this before, but, it sure would be awesome to just import from Suunto computer right into Dive Log Manager 2. I personally am not crazy about MacDive and think your program would be the best complete desk top program. Any plans in the near future? Keep up the great work, Dive Log is the Best!

Thanks, Jon

Hi Jon,

This new release of Mac Dive 2.0 uses a different/newer database format than the previous version and so it looks to us like a different program all together. Nick from Mac Dive generously gave us a prerelease of the software so that we could add support for it to Dive Log Manager. We are just doing some last minute testing and hope to get a new version of Dive Log Manager with Mac Dive 2.0 support out very shortly. Stay Tuned and watch this space!

Cheers,
Janice
