Re: Importing UDCF

I know it's odd, but the UDCF spec says: "The elements inside <date> are: < year>, < month> and < day>, exactly in this order." and the spec for the time keyword has similar language about the order of it's elements. Yeah, seems kind of weird, but ... Glad you were able to figure it out on your own....

Re: Importing JDiveLog

Just for closure for the forums, it looks like there were two issues importing these files: 1. The first was the encoding of the file. As it was generated on a Windows machine via Java, the encoding of the file used was "Cp1252" which was unusual for us to see. The MacOS supplied XML parser is only ...

Re: Importing JDiveLog

Hi, Sorry about the difficulties with JDiveLog 2.13. Unfortunately, because there is not a formal definition for the JDiveLog file format (other than what is implied by the source code) problems can sometimes occur in our importer because of data in a particular JDiveLog file that we have not seen b...

Re: Importing UDCF

Hi ATJ, Sorry that you're having a problem with UDCF. I doubt that you are doing anything wrong, but sometimes these file formats are finicky. The format includes a date and time field so you "shouldn't" be getting the current time in your log entries. Two things - can you let us know what program c...

Re: Dive Log Manager 2.0.3 - Metric

Hi ATJ, Sorry about that. You shouldn't have to restart DLM to get the units to reflect the change. Could I get a bit more information from you? Which "panel" were you on? (ie: Dives, or were you importing at the time?) Are you running MacOS 10.5 or 10.6? There is a bit of a user interface confusion...

Re: UDDF Import Support

Hi Daniel, Thanks for your interest in Dive Log and Dive Log Manager. I'm afraid that I got a little lost while trying to follow your current situation and your needs, so please bear with me. The short answer to your question is that there are no formal plans right now to directly support UDDF impor...

Re: Buddy list when importing from MacDive 2

Howdy, not sure where this should go, if it's here, in the Dive Log Manager section, or even over with MacDive! No worries, here is as good a place as any :-)! (tank size isn't, but I expect that's due to MacDive doing something entirely different with tanks for the moment, so not worried about tha...

DLM 2.0 Beta 3 now available

Another new version of Dive Log Manager is now available. We have added support for importing dives from the "new" Mac Dive 2.0 release as well as some minor changes in how we display some of the data fields. If you're already running Dive Log Manager, you can select "Check For Updates ..." from the...

Re: Importing from MacDive 2

Hi Jon, This new release of Mac Dive 2.0 uses a different/newer database format than the previous version and so it looks to us like a different program all together. Nick from Mac Dive generously gave us a prerelease of the software so that we could add support for it to Dive Log Manager. We are ju...

Re: Issue entering dates and times on iOS4

Apple has just approved the update that I mentioned in the previous post that corrects the issue when entering times on iOS4. This update, version 1.4.1 should be available via App update in iTunes or the iPhone App Store. You can also access it directly from this itunes link . You can look at the f...
