Re: Initial setup

Hi Gary, It sounds like this is probably something best handled directly in e-mail. Can you contact me via e-mail at: support "at" moremobilesoftware "dot" com (running it all together and replacing "at" with @ and "dot" with .). It would also be helpful if you could send me a copy of your MacDive 2...

Re: Initial setup

Hi Gary, Dive Log Manager (both the 1.3 version and the 2.0 Beta version) already know where the MacDive datafile is located. So you simply need to go to the "Convert" tab in Dive Log Manager 1.3 or click on one of the MacDive options in the sidebar under "IMPORT" in Dive Log Manager 2.0 beta to beg...

Re: IMPORTING PERSONAL & EQUIPMENT DATA

Hello tas000, You are correct - Dive Log Manager does not currently support importing the personal and equipment data from Mac Dive. (Although we do import tank data from the Mac Dive equipment information). This is not impossible, it's just that we concentrate our limited time on importing informat...

Re: GPS co-ordinates

Hi, The GPS data is actually associated with the Dive Site. So in order to add GPS data to a dive you need to add a dive site (either directly from the Dive or via the Location tab) and then tap the "GPS Coordinate" row. Once you have the GPS entry screen up you can either enter the location using t...

Re: Sync problem

I'm very sorry about the confusion and for the wasted time. Thank you very much for pointing out the weakness of the current design and how you interpreted the meaning of the text on the button. I will certainly try to improve this design in a future version of Dive Log. Your feedback will be helpfu...

Re: Sync problem

Hi Andy, One thing that is not as obvious with Dive Log on iPhone as it should be is that the new logbook that you sync over from Dive Log Manager (or any other compatible application) is not automatically loaded. After you have successfully transferred a logbook to the iPhone, the "Use new Logbook"...

Re: Sync problem

Hello awswimmer, Looking at your "messages" screen shot, both Dive Log Manager and Dive Log (on iPhone) seem to be satisfied that the file transferred properly. It would be very difficult to "drop" a dive out of a database file. So my guess is that the dive is somehow not imported into DLM "properly...

DLM 2.0.8 just released

Hi all,

Turns out there were additional changes to the new MacDive 2.0.3 database that we weren't aware of. Ooops. Sorry.

New version 2.0.8 available now that properly imports Buddies and Tank information.

Thanks!
Janice

Re: Locations not syncing?

Glad to hear it's working for you you now and no "re-entering" involved. Two quick notes: - Nick of Mac Dive would be the one working on Mac Dive 2 integration - that's his bailiwick - You can get the same set of Statistics that Dive Log on iPhone gives you in Dive Log Manager by selecting the "Stat...

Re: Divelog 2.06 - Metric issues

Hello awswimmer, So sorry we've taken so long to reply to this. In theory, we're set up to receive notifications when ever there is a new post on the forums. Surprise! Guess that's not working #fail I am not aware of any metric bugs in the current 2.0.6 release of DLM. Which of course is not to say ...
