Re: GPS co-ordinates

Hi Simon, Yes, the iPhone can acquire a GPS location without a data connection. As I mentioned in the previous post, the time to acquire the location the first time can be slow if your iPhone has moved a significant distance since the last time that the GPS function was used (by any application on t...

Re: Sync Iphone and IPad

Thank you for the suggestion. This is definitely on the list of features that we plan to add to Dive Log. Unfortunately, it will not be available in time for your upcoming trip, but hopefully by the next time that you need it. We really appreciate getting input from users about what features are mos...

Re: Can't switch between contents fields

Thanks to the gracious assistance of "wizbowes" and two other Dive Log users we've finally managed to sort out the conditions under which this crash occurs. We have submitted a Dive Log update to Apple for review (it will be version 1.6 when it is approved for release) that avoid the probl...

Re: Can't switch between contents fields

Hi, I'm sorry that you are seeing this issue. Based on your description, I think you are encountering a rare bug that we have been trying to resolve for a while now. It (if it is in fact the same problem) appears to be an issue with the system map software on the iPad that Dive Log appears to trigge...

Re: Sync Iphone and IPad

Hi, Right now, the only way to sync your Dive Log data on your iPhone and your iPad is via a desktop application on either your Mac or the PC. On the Mac you have the option of using Dive Log Manager (http://www.moremobilesoftware.com/Dive_Log_Manager.html) or MacDive (http://www.mac-dive.com). On t...

Re: Shearwater Support

Yes. And No. We have been working towards a database schema update for a while now. It will have capabilities for storing additional data such as is already found in the Shearwater database. So it made sense to "wait" until our new schema was finalized before tackling the shearwater import...

Re: Dive Log Manager and MacDive

Hi, Thanks for the kind words about Dive Log and Dive Log Manager, we are glad that you find them useful. MacDive's new sync capability with Dive Log provides a great new way to integrate your dive log between your iPhone/iPad and your Mac. However, there is still a role for Dive Log Manager and it ...
