Hi Tom,

- Dive Boat

If you conducted your dive from a boat you can add the name of that boat in this field. For example, if you were on a trip to resort destination and they had multiple tenders that they used to take you on dives you might enter the name of the tender used for that dive in this field. Another example might be a live aboard that had multiple tenders ... you would set the "City/Island" type to live aboard and the name to the name of the live aboard and then on each dive you could assign the name of the tender to the "dive boat" field.

- Divemaster

When conducting a dive with a dive operator at a resort, it is common to have a group of divers lead by a dive master. You can use this field to enter their name.

- Operator

You can enter a dive operator (for example "Jack's Diving Locker" in Kona Hawaii) in the list of Shops on the Shops tab. Then you can assign that operator to any dive conducted with them in this field. You can then later look at "dives by operator" in the Statistics to group the dives completed with each operator.

- Trip

You can create a "Trip" in the Trips tab to capture a dive vacation that you might have taken (for example, "Palau 2008"). Then for each dive you did on that trip you can assign the trip to that dive using this field. You can then later look at "dives by trip" in the Statistics to group the dives for each trip.

I hope that helps. Please let me know if you need more details.

Cheers,

Greg
