Is it possible to search dives for specific words in the comments.
For example, can I search call dives where I mentioned "turtles"?
Thanks
Searching dives?
Re: Searching dives?
Hi Marty,
In Dive Log on iOS the answer is (currently) no unfortunately. This is a feature that we are hoping to add in a future version of Dive Log but it is not currently available.
In DiveLogDT/Dive Log Manager you can do this by adding a "+" in front of your search term in the Search bar at the top right hand side of the application. Then you can move to the next dive with the same search term by hitting the "return" key. So your search would look like:
+turtles
then each time you hit "return" you will see the next dive that mentions "turtles". The "+" is the key to search inside the dive, otherwise the search will just look at the top level details that are visible in the dive list itself (#, Date, Time, Site, Length, MaxDepth).
I hope that helps. Please let us know if you have additional questions.
Cheers,
Greg
