Re: Suunto DM5 database import

And just one more clarification: When you click the Database button, you should get a "File Open" popup where you navigate to your latest version of the "DM4.db" file. So you need to select that file and then click "Open". Is it that the popup does not show up? Or that when you click Open that you d...

Re: Suunto DM5 database import

Sure we can help! Perhaps something has changed and we just did not notice. So first can you tell me what version of macOS and what version of DM5 you are using? And second, it doesn't hurt to make sure that you have completely *Quit* DM5 before trying to IMPORT using Dive Log Manager. That makes su...

Re: Export all logs as PDF

Hi Seb, Yes, you are right, right now Dive Log can only print/export dives one at a time. We do plan to add the ability to select and print multiple dives at once. I can't say for sure when that feature might become available. In the mean time, one option is to synchronize your Dive Log logbook with...

Re: Dive site data

Hi, I'm glad that my explanation was of some help. Hopefully other looking at the forums will find our exchange helpful. I'll also look at adding a reference to this information in our Blog. Unfortunately we don't have a good "how to get started guide" anywhere at this pointing time, but we are cons...

Re: Dive site data

Hi, Dive Log maintains three tables in its database to capture information about "location". The first is the Dive Site, the second is the City and the third is the Country. These three location items can be attached to any dive (they can also be attached in various ways to other items like Trips fo...

Re: Change country and location for multiple dives

Thank you for the suggestion. We'll certainly take a look at something along those lines (by the way, we do have a Template tank and Default tank feature accessible from the Settings tab that does that for tanks).

Cheers,

Greg

Re: Change country and location for multiple dives

Hi, Yes, you can do this while downloading the dive. There are a couple of ways to accomplish your goal. The first is to use an existing dive as a template that will be applied to all the dives you download and import. On the download scree for your dive computer *before* you import the dives you'll...

Re: Heart Rate display with G2

Hi, Yes there is. Just double tap (single tap on iPhone) on the Profile to see the full screen profile display. Then tap on the "profile settings" icon in the upper right hand corner and tap on the Heart Rate item to add a checkmark next to it. For dives that have heart rate data you should now see ...

Invalid logbook when importing via iOS iCloud Synchronization

A number of users have experienced problems using the "iOS iCloud Synchronization" feature of Dive Log to import (or sync) their logbooks on iOS 13. We have just released an update to Dive Log that should help resolve this issue. The new version is 3.2.13 and is available in the App Store. When you ...

Re: Marine Life Data

Hi, I'm sure that you are aware that Dive Log does include the ability to import marine life data from EOL.org (if anyone is not aware of this, it is a pretty quick way to fill out details of or find specific marine life items). Of course, this feature currently only allows you to import one item at...
